the millennium trail.

During my time working towards a Computer Science degree, I discovered an interest in accessibility improvements and how they can be used to improve experiences for all users.

This interest fed directly into my chosen dissertation topic; the creation of a high fidelity prototype centred around local heritage sites (The Millennium Trail) with a focus on accessibility solutions.

requirement gathering

After the completion of a thorough literature review, personas were drawn up based on demographics that commonly interact with mobile tourism.

This information was used to inform the rapid prototyping process when generating initial ideas.

usability testing & analysis

Five people were selected for testing, with no set time limit. Each test between 10-25 minutes. During this time, the users were asked to perform a number of tasks.

Watching users interact with my designs was fascinating, and the value of using a high-fidelity prototype was immediately apparent.
